We take security very, very seriously.

The starting point for site security is in the web development stage. All our developers are trained in security awareness and we develop in accordance with Open Web Applications Security Project (OWASP) standards. For clients with even greater security needs, we perform software-based web-application security audits, and have been audited by third-party security professionals.
No site is safe forever. New security holes appear all the time in both the operating system and the application itself and these need to be patched immediately. DogHouse has tight and immediate security processes in place for patching and updating software applications. Furthermore, by using open source software such as Drupal and Magento, we share the security input of every developer worldwide – in practice, this means that new weaknesses are discovered very quickly and a solution is usually issued on the same day.
We can also offer additional security services at the hosting level, including host-based intrusion detection systems, security patch auditing, and firewall monitoring and auditing. And if the worst does happen, we have a disaster recovery system that stores both content and operating systems off site and is designed to get your site back on air the same day.
